Update for Cannabis Industry between January 12th and January 16th.

MediPham has signed a supply agreement with Remidose Aerosols to supply GMP-certified cannabis products (inhalers, oils and tinctures). Currently MediPharm (Ontario based company) ships to over 10 countries, including Australia (3.1M$), Germany (2.8M$) and Canada (5M$) as being the biggest one so far with total net revenue of 11.4M$ in Q3.

Statistics Canada have published wholesale numbers for November 2025 which are of 254.3M$. In it is a -7% YoY performance compared to November 2024.

BC is offering funding to cannabis businesses and industry groups to help them grow interprovincially and internationally. This includes support for trade shows, marketing and hosting international buyers in BC. Funding for buyer-hosting activities is capped at 25K$ per year per applicant.

A new polling from Research Co. which specializes in public opinions have revealed recently that in BC and QC, people are least likely to purchase cannabis at a legal store compared to Alberta, SK, MB and ON. 41-42% of participants were comfortable with purchasing it in BC and QC, meanwhile in other provinces it is somewhere between 49%-60%.
